FROM THE DESK OF THE FOUNDER AND EDITOR OF HERALD MINISTRIES :

Several people have asked us about our commitment statement that everything we offer on our web site is absolutely free with no follow-ups asking for money.

How, they ask, can you do all of this for free? Well, on paper we can't. The laws of finance tell us we can't. However, we have witnessed for our Lord and Savior for 15 years under this commitment, and He has supplied our needs.

Yet there comes a time when machines break down and have to be repaired or replaced, there are the costs of increasing the effectiveness of our messages both audio and printed, which require different talents and reimbursement to others.

In our 3 years online, we have gone from a handful of printed articles to 60+, we began a free audiocassette tape program, we now offer streaming audio sermons that can be listened to within minutes of being added to our audio page and our printed articles can now be read in seven other languages besides English. All of these have added to our costs, and yet when an opportunity presents itself, how do we decline if it's at all possible to go ahead?

New doors will open for us. Will we be able to walk through those doors? We certainly hope that we can, but at present, unless God provides us with the needed funds, those doors will close before we are able to walk through them.

We can go to the book of Revelations, chapter 3 where Christ is addressing the Philadelphia Church. Rev. 3:7 "These things saith He that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and no man shutteth, and shutteth and no man openeth. V. 8 I know thy works. Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast little strength and hast kept my word, and hath not denied my name."

We believe we are a part of that church and that work, if only a small part, and that we are walking through the door that Christ set before us.

We do accept donations and offerings to help continue this work, but they are not required for you to receive what we offer. We do send receipts for any donations we receive for anyone who wishes to use them as a charitable gift for tax purposes.

In any event, we would welcome your prayers for this witness, asking that God will lay it upon the hearts of those who are able, to supply the help we need.

Sincerely in Christ's Service,
